Curfew imposed in three cities in Egypt on January 28 in connection with the protests, has been reduced to four hours, reports on Friday, Agence France-Presse citing state television of the country. Earlier in Cairo, Alexandria and Suez restrictions operated from 17:00 to 8:00, now – from 19:00 to 6:00. Meanwhile, the majority ignores curfew, participating in large-scale demonstrations. So, on Friday at Tahrir Square in the heart of the Egyptian capital reached more than one million people. They organized the so-called "Day of the wires," President Hosni Mubarak. Large anti-government demonstrations held in other cities of Egypt, in particular – in Al-Mansoura and Alexandria. Supporters of the resignation periodically come into conflict with those who supported the Egyptian leader. Previously, Mubarak, who has ruled Egypt for more than 30 years, agreed not to run in the next election scheduled for September 2011. However, this did not satisfy the protesters. The protests, however, generally are peaceful in nature. As Prime Minister of Egypt Ahmed Shafik, the government has no plans to disperse the protesters at Tahrir Square. He also stressed that none of the shares will not be arrested unless they committed an act of violence or vandalism, the press agency added.
