A memorandum of understanding was signed Wednesday in Brussels between the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule, and First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Klyuev. Earlier on Wednesday reported that Ukraine and the EU hope for half a year to complete negotiations on an association agreement. This was announced in Brussels, First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Klyuyev. Part of this document is an agreement to establish a free trade zone. But talks between Kiev and Brussels delayed because of disagreements about quotas for export of Ukrainian agricultural products. President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych in late February ordered the government to intensify the negotiating process with the EU and examine the possible assignment of the country for an early agreement on the establishment of a free trade zone.
