The researchers found the new evidence in favor of the version of origin of SN 1572 and Tycho G in the processing of information gathered by the Observatory's Chandra in April 2009. According to experts, this arc is formed by a substance to "withdraw" from the stellar companion to the explosion of a white dwarf. This interpretation is confirmed by the fact that the shape and location of the arc, the direction of Tycho G and the coordinates of the explosion are in good agreement in the geometric sense. The researchers acknowledge that their findings apply only to Tycho G, and if the white dwarf companion star has been identified incorrectly calculated the parameters of the binary system loses all value.
