The Russian government will consider the agreement on technical regulation within the TC

According to the document should be adopted technical regulations, designed exclusively for the products included in a single list of products for which a mandatory requirement under the Customs Union (CU). The powers of acceptance tehreglametov and unique list of products are transferred to the supranational level – the Customs Union Commission. In this case, the Commission would adopt a single mark for products of TC and a single form of certificates of conformity and declaration of compliance with technical regulations. The main principles of the document are mandatory conformity assessment of products for which technical regulations adopted by the Customs Union or EEC, as well as preventing the establishment of mandatory requirements for products not included in a single list. In addition, the document suggests treatment at a single customs territory of products conforming to technical regulations or TC EAEC, without being parties to the additional requirements, as well as preventing circulation of products not meeting the requirements of the regulations. Legislation of both parties should establish liability for failure to comply with technical regulations TC, as well as for violations of procedures for conformity assessment of products. "The agreement also recognizes the earlier reached agreements in the sphere of technical regulation contained in international instruments adopted within the EurAsEC," – says the materials for the meeting. These measures will eliminate the technical barriers to trade between the parties, the report says.
