72586261 Hezbollah and its allies have a majority in the Lebanese government
Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati announced the completion of forming a government, a majority of seats in which the movement was Hezbollah and its allies. It is reported by Agence France-Presse. Talks on forming cabinet lasted five months. Lebanese President Michel Suleiman ordered Mikati form a government on Jan. 25, 2011. The previous cabinet, which was headed by Saad Hariri, resigned Jan. 12, when he came out of the 11 ministers representing Hezbollah and its allies. Movement Hezbollah demanded by Saad Hariri, to stop cooperating with the international tribunal in The Hague, investigates the murder of his father Rafiq Hariri (the move fear that the guilty recognize the members of this organization). Previously, Western countries have expressed concerns about the possible formation of a government in Lebanon, which will play a big role Hezbollah. According to the press, waiting for the formation of the cabinet, Washington stopped arms supplies to Lebanon.
