The relevant draft law on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine (on improvement of legal regulation to ensure the realization of housing rights of residents of dormitories) supported by 285 deputies. Recall from 1 January 2009, the Act of Ukraine "On ensuring the realization of housing rights of residents of dormitories," which settled the issue regarding the transfer of ownership of such facilities in local communities and the constitutional rights of citizens to housing that is legally at least 5 years and actually registered live in the dorms and have no other homeownership.
