In clashes in Pakistan, people continue to die

Fighting is between activists of two influential local political factions – "neshnl Awami Party" (represents the interests of the Pashtun), and the movement "Muttahida Koumi muvment" (represents the interests of Indian descent – Muhajirs). This week the Pakistani authorities sent in Karachi reinforced police forces, army and security services. But even they have not managed to stop the unrest in the city. Over the past six months in the turf war killed about 500 people, and the total number of victims of political killings and clashes opposing groups exceeded 1,100.
