"Capture" the ticket office, saving each visitor to 12 euros, did not last long and was marked by police intervention. The head of the trade union of taxi drivers Timios Liberopulos said the news agency that the strike committee did not authorize such action and that a group of taxi drivers to operate independently. Greek taxi drivers go on strike from Monday, seriously complicating the lives of thousands of tourists and locals alike. Over the last few days, they moved from blocking the airports and seaports to "capture" plants to pay for toll roads and pickets. The main disadvantage of the strike is the lack of affordable and most convenient way to get to the airport and ferries for tourists vacationing in Greece. The drivers are protesting against the government's decision to lift restrictions on the issuance of licenses. So far, due to the existence of a closed guild license was the main capital of taxi owner, it can be advantageous to resell or rent in the sublease. The new measures are beneficial, "horseless" salaried taxi drivers and passengers. However, the licensees argue that many of them bought licenses for a large sum (often over 100 thousand euros), sometimes on credit secured by real estate. Government measures to bring them into bankruptcy, say taxi drivers-license holders. Taxi drivers are going to continue the strike indefinitely on next Tuesday they have identified a large demonstration outside the Greek parliament. All news about travel
