In February in Bahrain took place under the influence of other Arab countries, revolutions took place thousands of opposition protests. The demonstrators, most of them Shiite Muslims, constituting 75% of the population of Bahrain, demanded the expansion of the rights and influence in the country, ruled by the Sunni Al-Khalifa dynasty. In clashes with the police killed dozens of people, hundreds were injured. The riots subsided after entering into the kingdom in March at the request of its government troops GCC (Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States), consisting of Saudi soldiers and police officers from the UAE.
