FIFA ruled Syria from team members of the 2014 World Cup Football

FIFA has decided to exclude Syria for its violation of team matches in the qualifying round with Tajikistan, where the Syrians have attracted a football player, who had no right to participate. A two-match qualifying round took place on 23 and 28 July 2011. Both meetings were attended by "forbidden" player. Tajikistan national team will take the place of Syria in Group C, which earlier fell after the draw, Japan, Uzbekistan and North Korea. The decision by FIFA, according to the code organization, not subject to appeal.
