Finland supports the integration aspirations of Ukraine

On Monday, Foreign Minister of Ukraine on a working visit to Finland. "Finland's Prime Minister confirmed the willingness of the official support of Helsinki's European integration aspirations of Ukraine, particularly in the context of the negotiations with the European Union concerning the Association Agreement, including the establishment of a free trade area, as well as the implementation of EU action plan to liberalize the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens' – Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported on the outcome of the meeting of the parties. According to the Prime Minister of Finland, the Association Agreement should be a key element in the further development of Ukraine-EU. "We welcome the political will of the leadership of the Ukrainian state to conclude negotiations with the European Union before the end of this year", – underlined the prime minister of Finland. In his opinion, it is important that the leadership of Ukraine seeks integration into the EU. "It gives people hope and opens new perspectives. We support the European aspirations of Ukraine and in favor of liberalizing the visa regime with your country "- said the prime minister of Finland.
