23687566 Insurgents launched a new ultimatum to defenders of Sirte
The head of the National Transitional Council (NPC), Mustafa Abdel Jalil Libya August 30 put forward an official ultimatum supporters Muammar Gaddafi, took up defensive positions in his native town, Colonel – Sirte. Sirte remains the only major settlement on the coast of Libya, still under the control of government troops.
