International Children's Environmental Symposium will be held in Khabarovsk

International Children's Environmental Symposium "Protecting forests along!" Will be held in Khabarovsk on 27 to August 28, RIA AmurMedia in the Ministry of Natural Resources of Khabarovsk Krai. It will take place within the framework of joint project in the field of environmental protection associations of regional administrations in North-East Asia Region (NEAR). School children 9 – 17 years from Russia (Khabarovsk and Primorye Territories), Japan, South Korea and China exchange experience and hear reports in the field of environmental protection, will take part in practical environmental workshops and seminars. Participants in the symposium will contribute to forest conservation planting alley in the children's camp "Constellation" and install a commemorative stone. Participation of students in children's environmental symposium enables them to enhance their knowledge and broaden my horizons in the field of ecology, which, in turn, will serve as a prerequisite for the active involvement of children in environmental activities and expand their scope. Children's environmental workshops are held annually since 2004, alternately in Japan, the Republic of Korea, Republic of China, Primorsky and Khabarovsk territories in order to share environmental expertise among schoolchildren in North-East Asia.
