The protesters demand that the cabinet of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's economic reforms, complaining about the high cost of living, social inequality and unemployment. In addition, the protesters feel the need to make more affordable health care and education. The main culprits of the current situation in the country protesters say Prime Minister Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz. According to recent polls, most Israelis – 88 percent – support the demands of the demonstrators. At the same time more than 50 percent of the population willing to participate in such mass anti-government rallies, the first in Israel's history.
