U.S. senators propose to impose sanctions on Iran's Central Bank

"It's time to introduce crippling sanctions against Iran's financial system, isolating the Central Bank of Iran", – stated in this document, signed by 92 senators out of a hundred. Legislators, in particular, argue that Iran's central bank plays a major role in the strategy of Tehran, aimed at getting around the U.S. and international sanctions. "We strongly urge you to consider the imposition of U.S. sanctions against the Central Bank of Iran and to urge our allies to join us in this important endeavor.
