NASA disclosed information on the crash site satellite UARS (Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite), has fallen to Earth on September 24. As reported at the site office on Tuesday, September 27, the satellite entered the atmosphere in the Southern Hemisphere over the Pacific Ocean. The exact coordinates of the place – 14.1 degrees south latitude and 189.8 degrees east longitude. Via NASA stresses that the wreckage of the satellite fell into the ocean at a considerable distance from any land areas. September 24 Management reported that UARS fell to Earth without causing any damage and nobody was touching. The crash site, however, remained unknown. Satellite UARS, designed for studying the upper atmosphere, operated from 1991 to 2005. In early September 2011 it became known that soon descend decommissioned satellite from its orbit and that some parts of it may fall to Earth.
