New Exoplanet can turn to dust

Researchers at MIT, NASA and elsewhere have found a planet is possible, about 1,500 light years, which seems to be evaporating from its sun in the scorching heat. Scientists assume that a long tail of debris – is the result of the planet, and that this tail can tell the story of the disintegration of the planet – much like the tail of a comet.
