The new numbers show a record number of people were killed by falling TVs, furniture and appliances in 2011. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission report shows 41 people were killed in 2011, up from 31 in 2010 and 27 in 2009. The data show that most of the dead were under the age of nine. . . .
