A legislator who was arrested twice in two months, hospitalized for mental evaluation on charges of threatening to damage the leader of the Democratic Party could become the first person in the history of Nevada this week to be expelled from the legislature. A selection committee will meet on Tuesday night to advise if Assemblyman Steven Brooks, D-Las Vegas, was allowed to return to his seat in the legislature, be expelled, censured or otherwise reprimanded.
