Lawyers for the parents of Trayvon Martin on Friday renewed its request to change “Stand Your Ground” laws across the country, calling them vague and confusing. The laws – including the historic right of Florida – may allow a feasible “initial aggressor” or a person who starts a fight, to kill someone and then claim self-defense, said attorney Benjamin Crump. “You can not fight and kill the person and then claim ‘stand your ground'” Crump said, standing next to the parents of Trayvon Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin. “This goes against common sense … what message we are sending to society?” …
