MILWAUKEE – In a state whose license plates proclaim America as Dairyland, where lawmakers once graced the bacteria in Monterey Jack as the official state microbe and where otherwise sober citizens wear hats cylindrical foam, road crews are trying to thaw frozen streets of Wisconsin with a material that smells a bit ‘like mozzarella.
