Michelle Obama has a new ally in their campaign to get children to eat more fruits and vegetables. It was expected that the first lady announced Thursday that the sandwich chain Subway will spend $ 41 million over three years to encourage young picky eaters to eat more food that comes out of the ground or grow on trees. The announcement was made in an underground seminary near the White House. Subway will only offer a children’s menu that reflects federal guidelines for school lunches.
