The weight ratio of the power in the new Siemens motor is more than 5 kW per kilogram, which exceeds even the jet engines. The engine can run at a speed of nearly 0-2500 rpm, allowing the propeller shaft directly without intermediate gear. And such a motor can be relatively easily lifted into the air by aircraft takeoff weight of up to two tonnes. According to Siemens, they could play performance indicators using advanced modeling techniques, since a significant reduction in size, weight of each component and subsystems.
