Scientists simply found six new species of bristlenose catfish within the Amazon. In an evolutionary transfer that takes ‘catfishing’ to a complete new, form of candy stage, the males have tentacled faces to draw females. The tentacles appear to be eggs, and when females see a male with a tentacled face, they see an excellent potential father. The invention of those new species may pave the best way for conservation work within the Amazon.
