The composition of combined brominated/chlorinated dibenzofurans (PXDFs) and diphenyl ethers in soils from an e-waste web site in Ghana suggests a formation of PXDFs by way of condensation of the flame retardant PBDEs and subsequent bromine-to-chlorine trade.
