Fellow Democrats rapidly rallied round AOC, denouncing the advert as “ridiculous and evil” and “completely despicable.” The hashtag #BoycottABC rapidly started trending on Twitter. Heng pointed to the furor on Friday morning as proof what the Democrats had been all about.
