An Iranian official has confirmed that each one authorized steps to facilitate the discharge of the UK-flagged oil tanker Stena Impero have been accomplished and the vessel is free to go away.
“The authorized work and administrative procedures for the discharge of the English tanker have been accomplished, however I’ve no data on the time of the discharge,” authorities spokesman Ali Rabiei mentioned, in line with Iranian information company ILNA.

Officers mentioned on Sunday that the tanker, which is owned by Swedish transport agency Stena Bulk, can be launched quickly after 65 days of detention.
The tanker was seized by Iranian authorities because it entered the Strait of Hormuz in mid-July throughout an escalating diplomatic spat between Tehran and London.
