Russia’s Kalashnikov arms maker has certainly met the web’s demand for destruction movies of, after displaying footage of a stress check of its AK-74M assault rifle – shot continuous in full auto till a whole and fiery breakdown.
The footage, titled “Tips on how to kill AK-74M? Full auto fireplace | Destroyers of weapons” was posted on Kalashnikov Concern’s YouTube web page and has since gone viral in Russia. Whereas rifle-destroying movies are a factor amongst some gun lovers, it’s a uncommon sight for an arms maker to be placing its personal piece by means of a full-auto meltdown torture.
The gun concerned is simply your common army-issue AK-74M assault rifle, manufactured in 2014. It had seen some use already, and was not readied or hardened for the check by any means, in keeping with Kalashnikov.
A whopping 26 magazines – 780 rounds – had been readied for the check, and the gun managed to chew by means of most of them. The plastic components of the rifle ultimately started to soften and it went on fireplace, and the gun finally blew its barrel after taking pictures 587 rounds in full-auto mode.
The AK-74’s barrel grew to become visibly dented after the stress check, whereas the final spherical’s casing obtained fused strong inside the chamber. The receiver was apparently not broken throughout the taking pictures, aside from getting a thick sap cowl.
The general outcome seems to be fairly strong – not less than in keeping with the Russian Military’s calls for, which require an assault rifle to have the ability to stand up to the taking pictures of ‘simply’ 180 rounds in full-auto mode. “This firing fee shouldn’t be thought of regular for the weapon,” the Kalashnikov professional frankly warns, earlier than continuing with the torturous check.
