Ecuador govt agrees to repeal austerity legislation that sparked protests as indigenous teams pledge to cease rallies – UN consultant
Ecuadorian authorities agreed to terminate Govt Decree 883 that canceled gas subsidies and prompted protests all through the county for 11 days. Indigenous teams that led the rallies consented to stopping the mobilization.
