A robust 7.5 magnitude tremor has slammed Russia’s Far East area, placing off the Kuril Islands, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
The quake was felt throughout the area on Wednesday afternoon native time, with a depth of 56.7 kilometers (35 miles). There are not any experiences of injury or casualties as of but.
The seism triggered a tsunami watch alert in Hawaii, some 5,600 kilometers away.
