A white lady in a wheelchair was concerned a violent altercation with a gaggle of principally black individuals looting a Goal store in Minneapolis. It was one episode in a wider spree of riots amid outrage over police brutality.
One of many movies of the incident apparently exhibits the backdoor of the store and looters making an attempt to hold out stolen items previous the lady, who tries to cease them. Within the aftermath, the lady mentioned she was “peacefully protesting” in opposition to the looters and was attacked by them for it.

“I received punched in my head a number of instances. I received grabbed from behind,” she mentioned. “They stole my keys, they stole every part they may off of me. I received maced within the face. I received lined with fireplace extinguisher stuff.”
The confrontation occurred on Wednesday amid a day of rioting and looting in Minneapolis triggered by the choking loss of life of a black man throughout an arrest by the police. George Floyd died on Monday after being pinned to the bottom by an officer, who put his knee on Floyd’s neck and ignored his warnings that he couldn’t breathe.
