Researchers have used a pure plant product, referred to as cellulose nanocrystals, to pin and coat carbon nanotubes uniformly onto the carbon-fiber composites. The researchers mentioned their prescribed methodology is faster than standard strategies and in addition permits the designing of carbon-fiber composites from the nanoscale.
