A rocket produced by aerospace agency Firefly encountered a catastrophic failure minutes after its inaugural launch over the California coast, erupting into an enormous fireball because the craft exploded in mid-flight.
Supposed to succeed in orbit in its maiden voyage on Thursday, the Alpha rocket as an alternative met a fiery finish excessive above the Pacific as a result of an unspecified anomaly, Firefly confirmed in a tweet. “Alpha skilled an anomaly throughout first stage ascent that resulted within the lack of the car.
