China and Saudi Arabia have mentioned the creation of a free-trade zone between Beijing and the member states of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), Al-Arabiya reported on Friday, citing Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
“We’ve got mentioned the creation of a free-trade zone between China and the international locations of the Persian Gulf,” the crown prince introduced, talking at a Chinese language-Arab summit that kicked off in Riyadh.
The Gulf states and Beijing are additionally planning to cooperate on fixing “issues of meals and vitality safety,” and “…exploring the potential for cooperation with China within the area of provide chains,” bin Salman added.
