Veronica Roth, author of the Divergent series, has recently with the first novel in a series planned called “to Carve out the goal”. The novel is about the war between special species who was born with special powers. One of the species is coded to be representative of the white elite of the society, while other species are coded as the dark-skinned, savage and not civilized. I have nie’n problem with invasive alien species represent the races we’re already familiar with.
