Head of Administration of Smolensk Konstantin Lazarev and his deputy, Nicholas Petrochenko suspected of soliciting bribes from a representative of the Moscow firm. During the seven raids on places of work and residence the suspects were found objects and documents confirming the investigation. In addition, the guilt of government officials suggest the results of operations of the experiment. Lazarev was placed under arrest in Moscow Ostankino court on September 21. Petrochenko alleged accomplices and fraudsters, director of the MUP, "Computer Centre Housing " Vitaly Erofeev, chosen measure of restraint in the form of house arrest.
