Iran lashes out at US strikes as a ‘clear instance of terrorism’ after assaults on Iraq & Syria introduced
Tehran has described latest US strikes as an “act of terrorism”, after the Pentagon introduced assaults on Hezbollah targets in Iraq and Syria.
“US navy aggression towards Iraq and Iraqi forces is direct proof of US terrorism, (Tehran) condemns it”, Iranian Overseas Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi stated on Monday.
“With these assaults, america has proven its robust help for terrorism and disrespect for the sovereignty of nations, and should settle for duty for the implications of this illegal act”.
He known as on Washington to cease interfering in Iraq’s inner affairs and “stop its occupation presence” within the nation.
The airstrikes hit three Kataib Hezbollah navy amenities close to the city of Qaim, Iraq, in addition to two targets in Syria, in response to the group’s alleged bombing of an Iraqi navy base, the Pentagon introduced on Sunday.

Main Common Abdul Karim Khalaf, spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, described the US assaults as a “harmful aggravation which endangers the safety of Iraq and the area,” Iraqi media reported.
