After studying the find, the staff of the archaeological expedition said that the debt was an obstacle to free movement for people of Novgorod. Scientists have recently discovered fragment of the letters, dating from the XIII-XIV centuries. The surviving portion of the document allows to interpret the contents of all letters, "Do not Mogi otpustiti Radoslav other … nastavile of Kiev … the right to nem Coons."
