Researchers have found a short-lived type of the well-known Higgs boson -- topic of a groundbreaking search on the Massive Hadron Collider -- inside an iron-based superconductor. This Higgs mode will be accessed and managed by laser gentle flashing on the superconductor at trillions of pulses per second.
