PITTSBURGH — The Occupy Pittsburgh movement is planning a remodeling job for its ongoing encampment. An offshoot of the Occupy Wall Street movement, the group has been camped outside the BNY Mellon Building as part of a protest against a set of issues, including corporate greed and corruption. In a news release, the group said that plans for “Occupy Pittsburgh 2.0″ will call for a reconstruction of the site to “re-distribute space more equitably and efficiently, and make the encampment more inviting.” The group plans to gather on Dec. 4 from noon until 4 p.m. to create a site plan and changes will be made between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Dec. 11.
